Spray roses are miniature roses, with numerous blooms on a single stalk. The other flower type that has this variation is the carnation. The beauty of a spray rose is that each resembles an English garden because of the multiple blooms cradled by foliage. However unlike standard rose stalks, the spray-rose bush does not grow very tall, reaching approximately 50cm to 60cm in height. In spite of this, the spray rose is still a popular flower because it creates texture in a bouquet and centrepieces, and acts as a tasteful filler flower. Although it feels delicate, it is a hardy flower and often used for corsages and boutonnieres at weddings.
